The Wild

The Wild is an estate in Mykonos, overlooking Agia Anna Bay.

There is something quite simple and reserved about it, yet at the same time incredibly sophisticated. The estate is built around an almost impossibly beautiful infinity pool, sitting on the edge of the property and overlooking the sea.

The views are breathtaking.

The colours are unmistakably Greek, white, natural stone, blue, warm earth.

Everything feels connected to the island, but there is a perfect blend of tradition and sophistication that makes the whole place feel incredibly refined.

What I loved most was the balance. Nothing feels excessive. Everything feels considered, but never over-designed.

The estate sits beautifully on the cliff, and the sea becomes almost part of the architecture. You look towards the horizon and everything suddenly becomes quiet.

And perhaps that is what makes The Wild so special.

It is the feeling of being somewhere the rest of the world simply cannot reach. Mykonos can be loud. It can be glamorous, energetic, full of people and movement. But The Wild reminded me that there is another side to the island.

A quieter one. A more intimate one.

One where you can sit overlooking Agia Anna Bay and feel completely removed from everything. I loved that it didn't feel like it was trying to impress you. It simply lets the beauty of the place speak for itself.

And that is the greatest luxury today.

Not having more. Not being seen.

But being somewhere beautiful enough that, for a while, you don't need anything else.
